Brief

Re-vamp the Riverhouse restaurant marketing collateral and roll out a themed marketing identity that portrays the warmth and intimacy of this popular Noosaville restaurant.

What we did

It was important to keep the existing Riverhouse logo, and develop a distinct communication platform that presented the brand in a fresh way. A core component of the brand re-fresh was re-developing and designing the existing Riverhouse website. User navigation and overall functionality was a key focus in the re-development, along with a content managed system that allows Riverhouse to update their daily menu online. This approach allows for direct user experience and access to a menu that changes daily, inspired by fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce. Design aspects of the new visual identity were defined around an interior feature of Riverhouse restaurant, a mirror frame that integrates the physical locality of the restaurant with the fresh visual identity. Imagery of the restaurant is styled and defined within this frame and repeated as a key visual link throughout all marketing collateral, including press ads and promotional material. Ongoing marketing of Riverhouse restaurant is managed through direct media placement, which promotes monthly events at Riverhouse and directs patrons to the website as a key information portal.

Outcome

The website and brand re-fresh were launched as part of an integrated media campaign. The Riverhouse website is now monitored to track analytics of visitors in response to ongoing marketing.
